About 442

My name is Andy Neill and I am the Director of 442 Teamwear, Bangor, Co. Down. I have been involved in football for 20 years, playing at various levels of the game and playing at several local Irish League and Amateur League clubs along the way.

I am an approachable, friendly, outgoing family man with a family run business, a passion for local football and a desire to help, support and supply local clubs with a quality kit and quality service.

At 442 Teamwear it’s my belief that we won’t just be the place you buy your kits, we will be an extension of your club, another volunteer, here to help your players and parents.

We will go that extra mile, it’s our desire to provide a friendly, helpful, affordable service for your club. With the addition of our online club shop facility, you can make it easier for your volunteers, players and parents to purchase their team wear.

We specialise in Football Teamwear, dealing with major, global brands but we can also provide a service to other Sports,

  • Sports clubs
  • Youth clubs
  • Schools
  • Scouts, BB and other youth organisations

An added bonus at 442 Teamwear is the ability to organise any and all your clubs training equipment and accessories. Footballs, bibs, cones, corner flags or mini goals, you ask and we will supply.

I have been coaching at youth level now for approx. 10 years and with that commitment comes the additional responsibilities that a handful of us inevitably take on in order to ensure that our club runs year after year, so the local children in our communities have somewhere to enjoy their football with friends. As a club volunteer, I have seen and dealt with it all from parents, players, coaches & committee members to pitches, payments, friendlies, tournaments and Teamwear. And that is where 442 Teamwear grew from, as a volunteer I feel I give enough of my own free time to my club by coaching twice per week and every Saturday without the stress and aggravation that was dealing with my clubs team wear, I kept running into problems, regardless of where/who I was dealing with, when things didn’t quite work out,

  • I wanted to know why?
  • Why wasn’t I informed?
  • Why did no-one call me?
  • Why didn’t I get an email?

Communication was the common factor with everywhere we tried. I want to change that, provide a more personable service, communicate with my customers and make the volunteers at your club have more free time to spend on coaching the superstars of the future, rather than worrying about why the new kit is running two weeks late!

Don’t let your coaches get bogged down in additional commitments at your club, tell them to speak to 442 Teamwear.
